GMC Sees One-Millionth Production Model in Michigan

As 2011 comes to a close, it's natural for businesses and individuals alike to take a step back and examine what they've done with the year. While the jury is still out on whether the auto-industry as a whole has seen success, Chuck Nash Auto Group knows of one automaker in particular that's done very well. That automaker, of course, is GMC. Specifically, we'd like to take a moment to congratulate the company's Lansing Delta Township arm on the production of its one-millionth vehicle.

In operation for only under six years, the Michigan facility is the youngest GMC North American assembly plant and has shown remarkable determination. Its 3,700 team members work hard to produce quality models such as the Traverse, GMC Acadia and Enclave. Bringing a new luxury accent to the Acadia crossover, a 2011 Acadia Denali was the one-millionth model to roll off the production line.

Scott Whybrew, Plant Manager, attributes success to the plants skilled employees. He says, "Our team has established a strong foundation by continually improving our plant operations in order to exceed the expectations of our customers."1

We at Chuck Nash Auto Group also strive to deliver excellence to our consumers. That's why our experts are so dedicated to staying informed of GMC initiatives, expanding brand knowledge and helping find the right new GMC model for anyone who walks through our door at 3209 North Interstate 35 San Marcos, TX 78666. As the automaker continues to evolve, we promise to bring you the news. In the meantime, hats off to GMC Lansing Delta Township on your one-millionth model!
